It's been a little while since our last update. We've been head down in the studio working through several releases at once, and we wanted to take a moment to bring everyone up to speed on where things stand and some of the changes we're making behind the scenes. Sanctum Vitae has now been fully shipped, and ???Type has officially moved into fulfillment. During processing, we identified surface imperfections and backfill holes on a number of units, primarily affecting Shockloaf and Cinderchunk. We're remaking those pieces now and will begin shipping completed orders next week, with additional orders following as the remaining caps are completed. Casting continues on Emergence, which has proven to be our most ambitious and technically complex release to date. There is an incredible amount of detail packed into these caps, and producing them consistently at the quality we expect has taken considerably more time than we originally anticipated. Emergence is actively moving forward, but Mutagen is currently outpacing it and will likely be the next casting run to reach completion.
We're also expanding our casting capacity. We're adding more pressure pots and dedicating more production time to casting so that we can better utilize the downtime while shots from Emergence and Mutagen cure. With that additional capacity, we're beginning casting on both Contagion and Mesmer rather than asking those releases to continue waiting behind the current runs. We know it has been a frustrating wait for many of you. We're incredibly grateful to those who have continued to be patient and understanding as we've worked through the backlog. Artisan production can be unpredictable, especially with releases as detailed as these, but that process is also a big part of what makes these pieces what they are. There is an enormous amount of time, attention, and hands-on work poured into every cap that leaves our studio, and we never want shortening a lead time to come at the expense of giving you our best work. At the same time, we know we can do better at closing the gap between release and delivery. Increasing our casting capacity is one part of that. Another is the introduction of our new Foundation Series, beginning with Prima. Foundations gives us a way to continue creating and releasing new work through an evergreen, in-stock model without continually adding complex limited releases to the production backlog. It's an important part of building a more sustainable production rhythm while we dedicate more of our time and resources to completing the outstanding releases already on our bench.
We'll also be at KeebLife soon, and we'd love to see you there. We'll be bringing a lot with us, including a look at some of the materials, tools, and processes behind the work we do. Preparing for and attending the event will slow studio production slightly that week, but we'll be back at full pace immediately afterward. Our focus over the coming months is simple: increase production capacity, work through the backlog, and continue improving the way we release new work so that we can get it into your hands faster.
